  1. Strength training should be part of every endurance athlete’s training plan.

  2. Female athletes are not necessarily a “special” population – yes, we need more women specific data, but we should not exclude or limit them in any sense.

  3. Altitude works. Even if you happen to not get the hematological benefits out of it, you have plenty more things to gain: a variety of other physiological stimuli, the training camp environment, or just really focused training.
