As the new Moon in Scorpio and the planets dance in the cosmos, there is an invitation to reclaim the truth of you and what is uniquely yours, and to express it through your emotions and passions. Welcome to an empowering week ahead.

New Moon in Scorpio

Throughout the last year of eclipses in Scorpio, we have been shedding, transforming, rebirthing, and becoming, over and over again, with the transformational water sign at our side.

Scorpio invites the reclamation of inner power and becomes medicine to anyone who have felt small, incapable, powerless, or trapped within old narratives, identities, or ways of being. It is within the experiences that cause us to feel powerless that Scorpio invites us to remember our power. It is through cracking open from within that Scorpio welcomes illumination into dark spaces. And it is through surrendering to the metaphoric death of ourselves that Scorpio walks us through our rebirth.

When we experience the new Moon under the influence of Scorpio on November 13, 2023, we will begin again. This time, however, as different people.

Under a new Moon, the night is dark. She is nowhere to be seen, as she has emptied herself bare. Existing only in the unseen, the energetic, the emotional, the felt. Existing only in the intangible, intuitive, beyond sight.

This new Moon in Scorpio is a rebirth, a reclamation, and an opportunity to embody the depth, strength, and empowerment waiting within each of us. Do we, too, need to step away into our own, unseen from all others, while we are rebirthing ourselves? Do we, too, need moments unknown before we can understand who we are to be? On this day, our reconstruction takes center stage.

RELATED: What the New Moon in Scorpio Means for You

Sun Opposite Uranus

The Sun, in astrology, represents our sense of self, our identity, our personality. As it swims through the depths of Scorpio from October 23 to November 21, this identity of ours is already moving through deep reconstruction, where all that no longer feels real and aligned is removed to make space for what is.

On the same day as this powerful new Moon on November 13, the Sun and Uranus sit at opposite sides of the cosmos, activating one another. On this day, however, this reconstruction seems to take center stage.

While the Sun in Scorpio speaks through felt emotions and unseen currents, Uranus speaks through sharp insights and intuitive awakenings. Uranus is often known as our planet of awakening. It looks to a higher ideal, a new way of being and doing life, one that exists beyond everything we currently know. And it cracks all that exists wide open so that it may make the space for that way of being. It shows us the fragility in reality by showing us how much exists beyond these constructs.

As the Sun and Uranus oppose one another, an intention comes to life, the intention of showing us how much of ourselves, and how much possibility, lives beyond the constructs of our identity. It is an alignment that desires to make the space for more of us beyond the stories, the narratives, the constructs, and the shackles of the past.

Sun Conjunct Mars

While the Sun represents our identity in astrology, Mars represents our drive, and Scorpio takes us deep into the undercurrents of who we are.

As the Sun and Mars come together in Scorpio on November 17, 2023, we are gifted with the fires of motivation to uncover the truth of who we are, to find and reclaim strength required to walk our path, and the drive and energy to say yes to it. It’s a spark of energy. A rush of passion. A primal need to answer the calling of our souls, the one that is ours and no one else’s.

This combination in our skies, and therefore within our hearts, brings the motivation to pull back any layers that are limiting, constricting, or keeping us from the expression of our authenticity. It brings an empowerment for each of us to take a hold of and say “no” where required. And perhaps overdue, a fully felt “yes” to ourselves.

Sun and Mars Trine Neptune

On the same day that the Sun and Mars sit close to one another, hey form a trine in our cosmos with Neptune. This means they sit 120 degrees, or four signs away, from one another. While the Sun and Mars sit in the water sign of Scorpio, Neptune is at home in the water sign of Pisces.

Creativity requires a vessel to move through. Divinity moves through individuals. Dreams require drive. Dreams require action. Creativity sparks passion. Inspiration requires a connection to both form and formlessness to come to life.

While Neptune represents creativity, dreams, and divinity, the Sun is our individuality, and our vessel,” and Mars speaks to drive, action, and passion. While Neptune represents formlessness and inspiration, the Sun and Mars represent the self through which the intangible has the opportunity to become tangible, where our visions become a lived reality through action.

A trine represents harmony. These three planets are working together, collaborating and supporting one another. With each planet in a water sign, this inspiration and passion sparks from our emotions. From the waters that move within us and inform the drive and motivation to act and bring certain dreams to life. As we lean into the emotional currents that live within, we simultaneously move into meaning—the sort of meaning that lies behind each action we choose to take.

Your Invitation

The new Moon this week holds an intensity, power, and drive waiting within the veils of the unseen. It is here to be deeply felt, seen, and collaborated with. Here to be wholly catalyzing, to change something within or around us, and to be acted on. It is a door opening to a new way of being, and a knowing from within that you must walk through it.

This energy seems to only continue as the Moon changes and the Sun, Uranus, Mars, and Neptune begin collaborating. There is a sense of empowerment to the week, with the cosmos on your side offering the expansion of Uranus and the divine creativity of Neptune. What is uniquely yours speaks through your emotional currents and the passion to claim it becomes a natural result of your passion.

There is an invitation to listen to the undercurrents of your emotions, to the knowing within your body, and the desires that call your name. There is much potential for clarification this week. As you emerge from all this cosmic movement, the opportunity is to do so with more of an understanding of who you are and the direction that is yours to take.
